Performance Updates

Performance has been, and continues to be, a main focus of our product and engineering team this past month. As we continue to scale Selly across a greater number of dealerships, it's important that we improve our infrastructure in order to keep up with increased demand brought forth by larger numbers of dealers using Selly. These backend improvements are necessary in order for us to provide a seamless experience for all of our dealers navigating throughout all parts of Selly. Currently, we're working on improving the overall performance on the Texting module. This will enable us to add to and improve our texting-related feature set. 

What's coming down the pipeline?

Automatic Deal-creation from Internet Leads

This past month we've had to put this project on hold, as other higher priorities surfaced. We're now going back to the final stages of testing for Deal Auto-creation, a feature that allows the automatic creation of a new deal whenever an Internet Lead is submitted at your dealership. This new setting aims to improve your efficiency when navigating Selly, as you'll no longer have to go through the highly manual steps of creating a deal for your Internet Lead customers.

Credit Application Leads from V12

Due to a number of dealers that receive credit applications from their website provider, V12 Software, we're working on a project to properly parse and display the credit application data in the Lead Comments and Client's Notes. This update will lead to an improved experience when receiving credit applications from V12.

Some issues we've addressed

  • We've fixed a time zone issue that was causing the lead submission date for KBB trade-in leads to be incorrect.
  • There was a time zone issue that caused certain past-due tasks to be listed as upcoming. This issue was addressed.
  • The search functionality on the Texting module was not working properly when phone numbers were searched. It incorrectly returned results that did not include the phone numbers in the search bar. This issue was addressed.
  • There was an issue on iOS and Android that prevented push notifications from being delivered to certain devices. We've updated our apps to ensure that this does not happen again.
  • The Auto-reassignment switch on Advanced Lead Sources was not saving properly when the switch was turned on or off. This issue was fixed, and it is now working.
  • There was an issue in Advanced Auto-reassignment that caused leads from advanced lead sources to follow the basic auto-reassignment rules rather than the rules specified for the particular lead source. This issue has been resolved.
  • There were a few instances that caused uncharacteristic slowness when saving new Client comments. The root caused was identified, and a fix was made.
