Read on to find out what's new in Selly this month:

Reduction of minimum delay time for Work Plan Emails and Texts

Dealers have expressed the need to set up work plan Emails and Texts with a time-delay shorter than 15 minutes, so we've reduced the minimum time delay from 15 minutes down to 3 minutes.

Performance Updates

We needed to improve the performance of a few key areas of Selly. After hearing about some issues with slow loading times on the Clients module, we performed an investigation led us to working on a few optimizations that ultimately reduced the time it takes to load a Client's profile. We're hoping that this leads to a better experience for everyone, especially those dealers with larger amounts of data.

Automatic Deal-creation from Internet Leads

We're finalizing a feature that will automatically create a new deal whenever an Internet Lead is submitted at your dealership. This new setting aims to improve your efficiency when navigating Selly, as you'll no longer have to go through the highly manual steps of creating a deal for your Internet Lead customers.

Email templates in the mobile app

We're continuing to make progress on email templates in the mobile app. This functionality will save you from having to manually type out your commonly-written emails to your customers.

Some issues we've addressed

  • Certain Android phones with older versions were having trouble installing the mobile application. We've made updates, and now older versions will still work properly with Selly.
  • On Android, when adding a Client Document, Selly didn't provide the option to upload a document by taking a photo with the phone's camera. We've made some adjustments, and now Android users can upload Client Documents by taking a photo.
  • We fixed an issue that prevented users from properly uploading Client Documents.
  • We fixed a Driver's License issue on both iOS and Android apps that prevented users from successfully scanning licenses from certain states and Canadian provinces. 
  • Automated Emails whose templates contained an "Unsubscribe" link were being delivered with two Unsubscribe links (one that was appended after the template was added). We added some logic that first searched for an existing unsubscribe link before automatically adding a second unsubscribe link.
  • There was an issue with the "Created On" timestamp being incorrect on a Client's Basic Info page. This was due to a previous optimization effort we had done on the Client's profile. We fixed the issue, and the time is now displaying correctly.
  • There was an issue where Salesperson-type Users with access to viewing all Clients weren't able to see the Salesperson assigned to the Client. This was due to a recent optimization effort in the Client's profile page. We fixed this issue, and Salesperson-type Users with access to viewing all Clients are now able to properly view the assigned Salesperson of a Client.
  • We fixed an issue that was causing the SMS History in a Client's History to load extremely slowly.
