Template Previews in the Work Plan

We've added email and text message template previews to the Work Plan. This'll make it easier for you to know which email and text templates are being automatically sent to your customers, and you'll no longer have to guess at whether or not you've chosen the correct template for the given work plan setting.

Page-loading improvements

We've improved the page-loading times in key areas of Selly. In both the Email module and the Clients module, some Selly Users with lots of data were experiencing slowness issues on the initial page load. We were able to identify the key problems that led to the performance slow-downs, which allowed us to optimize the loading of both pages.

Automatic Deal-creation from Internet Leads

In just a couple of weeks, Selly will be able to automatically create a new deal whenever an Internet Lead is submitted at your dealership. This new setting aims to improve your efficiency when navigating Selly, as you'll no longer have to go through the highly manual steps of creating a deal for your Internet Lead customers.

Email templates in the mobile app

We're continuing to make progress on email templates in the mobile app. This functionality will save you from having to manually type out your commonly-written emails to your customers.

Some issues we've addressed

  • A few Selly Users faced page-loading errors when loading the Work Plan. The issue was due to the fact that certain Work Plan settings were associated with email and/or texting templates that had been previously deleted. We've addressed the issue, and dealers should no longer face issues in this scenario. 
  • When using email templates to manually compose emails, the Dealer.Phone merge tag was being replaced with the General Dealership Number, rather than our dealers' Selly Texting number. This logic was different from any automated emails, so we've adjusted the merge tag replacement logic, and it now correctly uses the dealers' Selly Texting number for merge tag replacement when sending emails.
  • There was an issue when sending text messages with vehicle URLs. In certain types of URLs, the links would not be replaced properly, leading to broken links in text messages. This meant that the URL routed clients to an inaccessible page, rather than the correct page for the vehicle. We've fixed this issue.
  • A bug was found when filtering the Clients list using the vehicle filter. Certain vehicles were not showing up in the filter. We've addressed this issue.
