Happy October! Here are the product-related updates for October 2020:

Facebook Messenger Tool

We're getting close to the completion of the Facebook Messenger tool. In last month's product update, we mentioned that we were working on two different components of the Facebook Messenger feature within Selly:

  • Managing which Salespeople at your dealership are able to use the Facebook and how they're able to use it.
  • Ensuring that you can associate your Facebook leads with new or existing Selly Clients.

We're happy to report that these two features are completed, and here's a sneak peak into what they'll look like:

Managing which Salespeople have access to the Facebook Messenger tool

As a Manager, you'll not only have complete control over which Salespeople have access to the Facebook Messenger tool, you'll also have complete control over how they are able to use the Facebook Messenger tool within Selly.

For example, if there's a Salesperson that you'd prefer to have full access to the Facebook conversations that take place over your dealership's Facebook Page, you can provide them with "Full Access". If you want a different Salesperson to only be able to view conversations for Clients that are assigned to them, you can provide them with "Limited Access". These permission settings allow you to be as granular as you'd like with each of the members of your team.

Associating Facebook Conversations with new or existing Selly Clients

When your Facebook Page receives a new Facebook message, the conversation will look like this in Selly:

By clicking on the Associate Client button, you'll be able to either add a new Selly Client, or associate the conversation with one of your existing clients:

The first and last name of the Facebook User will be automatically populated, so you'll just have to add their contact info (either Email or Phone numbers). Selly will automatically look for any potential matching Clients at your dealership, and if an existing Client is found, you'll be able to easily associate the Facebook Conversation with the existing Selly Client.

Internet Lead Text Message Auto-responders

In less than two weeks, we'll begin allowing Selly dealers that have filled out the early-access form to begin using the Internet Lead Text Message Auto-responder feature. This will allow you to quit worrying about your Internet leads not being responded to quickly. Selly will do that for you.
